WHO-Prozess THE PEP

Im Vorfeld der nächsten Minister*innen-Konfernz zu „Verkehr und Mobilität“ können Jugendliche bei internationalen Online-Foren mit Expert*innen diskutieren und ihre Meinung einbringen.
THE PEP ist ein Dreisektoren-Programm von UNECE und WHO, bei dem Verkehrs-, Gesundheits- und Umweltministerien aus 56 europäischen Ländern inklusive USA und Canada für umweltverträgliche und gesundheitsfördernde Mobilität zusammenarbeiten. Auf Einladung Österreichs wird am 17. und 18. Mai 2021 die nächste Konferenz der Minister*innen stattfinden. Bei diesem wird ein Positionspapier („Wiener Deklaration“) für eine gesunde und klimafreundliche Mobilität erarbeitet.
THE PEP möchte in die Diskussion auch die Meinung von jungen Menschen einbinden. Daher werden im April 2021 drei internationale Jugendforen veranstaltet. Die Ergebnisse der Foren werden dann bei der Konferenz im Mai vorgestellt. Mehr Infos zum WHO-Prozess HIER.

In the context of the next Ministerial Conference on Transport and Mobility, young people can discuss with experts and contribute their opinions in international online forums.
THE PEP is a three-sector programme of UNECE and WHO, in which transport, health and environment ministries from 56 European countries including the USA and Canada work together for environmentally compatible and health-promoting mobility. At the invitation of Austria, the fifth high-level ministerial meeting will take place online in Vienna on 17 and 18 May 2021. At this meeting, a position paper („Vienna Declaration“) for healthy and climate-friendly mobility will be developed.
THE PEP also wants to include the opinion of young people in the discussion. Therefore, three international youth forums will be organised in April 2021. The results of the forums will then be presented at the Ministerial Conference in May. More information on the WHO process HERE.

Forum I 13 April, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Forum II 20 April, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Forum III 28 April, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
